Default Can't Access LAN Folders

I'm running two XP Pro computers on a LAN. Remote Desktop works between both
systems. When I use My Network Places to view either of my LAN computers, I
can only access the Shares Folders but nothing else, including My
Documents - it's telling me I don't have permissions. What I'm I not doing?
I did use the Small Home or Office Network wizard several times.

Help please.

Jim

You may want to create the same username on both computers. Or this search
result may help.
Access issues
"computername is not accessible. No permission to access the
resources" ... Message: "....is not accessible. You may not have permission
to use this network ...

Default Can't Access LAN Folders

I made the change you suggested - both computers now have the same username.
Using Windows Explorer, I can now access all folders on my LAN computer but
I still cannot copy a file from one computer to the other, says I don't have
permissions!!

File sharing is on. Removed firewall still have problen.

Suggestions please.

Make sure you also assign permission in Security tab.
