Default turn on "complex file sharing" in XP home?

On winXP pro, if you turn off simple networking, then when you share a file
you can set the share's permission as well as the file's security. This
allows you to grant access to specific users.

On winXP home, no such setting is available. Sharing grants equal access to
everyone.

There is an applet (the name escape me) that adds a security tab to all
winXP home's file properties.

Is there something similar to set a share's permission? In other words, can
I turn off simple file sharing in xp home without upgrading to xp pro? Third
party solution is perfectly ok.

I have some netbooks (running XP home) being used in an office
environment...

There's no option to do this, unfortunately - I don't know of any
third-party workarounds, either. You really need XP Pro. Home is crippled
beyond belief.

Hi
That is why it is called Windows XP """""Home""""".
You solution is upgrading the OS to WinXP Pro or Vista.
