Default Local Profile problem

Using Windows XP Pro on desktop and Small Business Server 2003 on server.

When one of my people logs on to his own computer Windows opens at a
temporary profile instead of his own. If he logs on to another computer he
logs on with his own profile. As administrator can I just delete his profile
from his computer and then reset the profile from the server or do I need to
completely delete his profile from everything and start over? And does
anyone have any ideas as to why this started doing this?

Thanks for your help.
