Default Hard Drive Letter Not Showing in Storage Mgmt.

I'm running XP Pro and have 4 drives in my system. 2 hard drives, floppy and
DVD Writer.

When I go to Computer Management\Storage\Disk Management, at the bottom of
the window, I see my 2 hard drives and DVD.

The DVD says:
CD-ROM 0 DVD (E no media.

My hard drives say:
DISK 0 Basic 232.88 GB on line
DISK 1 Basic 232.88 GB on line

The hard drive have no drive letters assigned and this is giving me a
problem in Norton Ghost 14. Is there any way to get the drive letters to
show up?

They do show in Windows Explorer and everything seem to work OK, other then
Ghost.

When I try yo do a file/folder backup in Ghost it tels me it can get the
list of drives. I though maybe not seeing the driver letters in Disk
Management was causing the problem....maybe not???

Download TweakUI, one of the MS powertoys, from he
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/p.../powertoys.asp

In TweakUi select My Computer, Drive Letters. Select the option you
want.

Hard drives proper don't get drive letters. Only valid partitions on
the hard drives can be assigned drive letters. Only partitions with
drive letters appear in Windows Explorer.

I assume my partitions are valid because the system runs fine and drive
letters show in Explorer.
