sound recorder user window size
The window that opens for the sound recorder is too small, it does not show
the record buttons. The max screen option is not in place and the window will not resize. -- cheers; ian c |

In Control Panel Sounds and Audio Devices, on the Voice tab along the top, do you have anything in the "Voice Recording" section in the middle, or is it greyed-out/unavailable? If so, it'd make sense that Sound Recorder wouldn't enable its record button if Windows doesn't know of any way of feeding an input to it. Being unable to resize the app and its having no maximise button is normal. |

The Sound recorder window is of a fixed size and the size cannot be changed. There is only one record button - the one with the red circle. There are better utilities around than Sound Recorder. |
