just CANNOT log in automatically :(

XP Pro... I am trying to set up my system to login me in
automatically, sice I'm the only user (me and
the "admin"). I have done this using control passwords2
(that may be a typo) and I've tried from TweakUI Login
settings (clicked it and tried reseting the password).
NO MATTER what I do, it says "windows cannot log the
user "xxxxxxx" in automatically. I hit OK, and it goes
to the usual login screen. I click my name and it boots
up (am not asked for password here). ANY ideas? I've
googled and searched the board, and the above steps are
all I've found. Thanks in advance! Richard

It's "control userpasswords2"

Are you trying to use a blank password?
