Taskbar Resizes automatically
I have my XP(home) taskbar on the left side of my screen
instead of at the bottom. Eveytime I reboot the pc, the taskbar gets smaller. Locking the taskbar to its desirable width does not help; the taskbar will still re-appear on the left at a smaller size. Anyone knows a fix for this ? Thansk, J |

Hello Jeff,
I suggest you visit MS-MVP Kelly's website at http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm Note the instructions at the top of the page, then scroll down to line 164, (Restore Taskbar to Default Functionality) Right-click the hyperlink, then click | Save Target As | to download the file, "xp_taskbar_desktop_fixall.vbs", then double-click and follow the prompts. You might also like to do some reading on "Taskbar" at http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_t.htm You might also need to download the file, "savesettings.reg" from Line 54, (Save settings on exit) at http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm Jan -----Original Message----- I have my XP(home) taskbar on the left side of my screen instead of at the bottom.
