Default Can't print Word docs...but can print everything else

I have Microsoft XP and WorksSuite 2001. I have always
been able to print with my HP 880 without any problems.
Recently, I have been unable to print any Word or WordPad
documents. The weird part is that all other programs
print fine (text, images, Web pages, Quicken, etc.).

I have tried reinstalling WorksSuite as well as the
printer. I have tried different printers. I have tried
different Word documents.

If I receive any docuemt via email that the sender
prepared in Microsoft Word, it won't print either.

In all cases, the blank paper feeds through the printer,
but it does not attempt to print anything.

Can anyone advise?
