Default Peer to Peer networking

HELP!!

We have a small office peer-to-peer network comprising of
4 Dell Optiplex GX270 desktops running on XP Pro.
Broadband and network connections are routed through a
NetGear 10/100 Mbps Switch. This gives internet access
to each workstation but not file sharing.
Every time we try to access the workgroup an error
message appears saying the nominated workgroup is not
available, check access permissions and a list of servers
for this workgroup is not available.

We have enabled the sharing and security option on the C
drives. We have also run the Network Setup Wizard on
each workstation using the network hub setting.
But we still get the error message and cannot file share.

What are the correct XP Pro settings to enable this
network to function????
