Default Power Schemes

Hello,

The power schemes for my laptop is not working. The box
that opens up that gives several options for the "power
schemes" only hilights. There is nothing there. I
cannot create/delete new power schemes. The fields below
also do not open up. The "standby", "plugged in", etc.
doesn't show any times.

Because I am part of a network, I had a user name
(administrative) to log in to. I created another user
name (administration). In this new user name, the power
schemes are fine. I tried re-installing the power
options from the Windows XP reboot CD. Some people think
it is a administration problem, but I'm don't know what's
wrong. Please help!
Thanks!
