I realize that you can force runas credential prompt when executing a
program. However, is it possible to tell xp to run a program with specific credentials without prompting you for one? Thanks in advance |

RunAs Question

so for everything on the computer. An alternative would be to use a = VBScript program to run the executable. The script can be encrypted = with the VBScript Encoder to hide the username/password used. One = note: if the script is executing a command line utility, the password = may still be exposed in the Command Prompt window while the program = executes. http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...ds/list/webde= v.asp --=20 Doug Knox, MS-MVP Windows Media Center\Windows Powered Smart Display Win 95/98/Me/XP Tweaks and Fixes http://www.dougknox.com -------------------------------- Per user Group Policy Restrictions for XP Home and XP Pro http://www.dougknox.com/xp/utils/xp_securityconsole.htm -------------------------------- Please reply only to the newsgroup so all may benefit.
