Default USB 2.0 in a 1.1 port

Hello, I have a USB 2.0 device which im plugging into a USB1.1 port.
Everything works fine, there are no problems in functionality.

What i want to know, is is there ANY way to turn off the stupid tooltip
bubble that pops up everytime i plug it in? It is a Port replicator for my
laptop
which adds (among others) additional USBs, and plugs in through USB.
So everytime i "dock" my computer back to the PR, i get a "HighSpeed USB in
NonHighSpeed Port" bubble for every one of the additional USB ports on the
replicator. I know about the issue and dnot care. I dont need to be notified
5 times
every time i redock my laptop.

Anyone know of a reg tweak to turn off that annoying bubble???

Thanks in advance,

- Aaron.

A quick check on support.microsoft.com turns up:

How to turn off the “Hi-speed USB device plugged into non-hi-speed USB hub” warning message
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;835967

Don't forget to check there first; you'll many times get an immediate answer.

Thanks!! I must admit i fell prey to the trap of putting TOO much trust in
Google. It came up with problems with 2.0 in 1.1, but didnt show me anything
off how to turn off the tip.
I guess support.microsoft.com DOES make sense!

Even Google isnt perfect!
Thanks again.
