Michael You can only use roaming profiles in a domain environment, not a Workgroup. You would need to add a server operating system and set up a domain. Who said? That is a lie. Do not trust him. You can do Roaming profiles
workgroup to workgroup too. Did you take MCSE WINDOWS XP PRO? Probably no. That is why you do not know. 1. Right click on MY COMPUTER 2. GO TO PROPERTIES 3. Click on Users and Groups 4. Right click and go to properties on a user. 5. Click on Local Profile tab. 6. Give the location of your ROAMING profile. 7. There you have it. What do you know Malke? CHAMILA If you had bothered to read through the whole article, you will see that the process you describe is for a domain: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=314478 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/q243420/ http://www.techadvice.com/nt40/R/RoamingProfiles.htm I wonder why you felt the need to call me untrustworthy and a liar. Certainly if I am wrong about something I am happy to to be corrected, but I must say your peculiar posting style and personal attacks do not inspire any confidence in your own knowledge.
