Default Remote Access

I would like to use the remote access feature on my windows xp laptop to
connect to my desktop which is running windows 2000 professional. What I
would like to know is how to set up Windows 2000 pro to accept remote access
connections from my laptop. Both the laptop and the desktop are in the same
network.

To complete Sooner Al's otherwise excellent advice, Windows 2000
Professional cannot be a server for Remote Desktop, only a client. A
program like VNC will be necessary to connect from XP to 2000.
