Default Problem sharing internet connection

I have two PCs running WinXP
both are conected to Cable/Dsl router and have a private IPs
they both in the same workgroup and I can shere file in between those two

now one PC is connected to internet trough a 56k modem
how can I make the other PC to brose the web use email

I tried many settings it just does not work
Can anybody help
