Background server has encountered a problem
Anybody help me on what this means and ant ideas how to fix.
It also says the server must shut down. My auto virus scan for email cannot be activated either, although i do get update notifications. Thanks John |

Dont think its this, after further trial & error testing, I find that if I
remove Zone Alarm it seems to work OK. I activated MS Firewall, and am on a router, so I still have some degree of protection. Still have some testing to do. A complete Virus Scan showed no virus's or worms present. Problem solved. Theres an incompatability problem between "Fix IT" and one of the security patches downloaded from the Windows site !
