Default Language of printing preferences changed to foreign language

Have Epson 830U installed - works fine. Recently got computer upgraded. Now
screens for the printing preferences options (eg the ones where you clean the
print heads) are written in what appears to be Dutch. For Ink levels it says
"Inkthiveau". The options screens are in English. Only the preference
screens are affected!

Any suggestions gratefully received
