Default It won't install fully...

Hi to anyone that reads this!
I am having some trouble with Msn Messenger everytime I install it (I don't
have Window's Messenger btw.)
Everytime I try to install, half way through i receive a popup saying:

Anyone with ideas of how to fix this?
Also, if i do try to open it, i get a "missing file" thing of msidcrl40.dll
Thanks for anyone's help, greatly appreaciated!
Jiao
