There's some instructions at www.RealVNC.com. Basically, open up the client
and type your friends' IP address. If her computer is behind a router, you
must forward the port to her computer in the router's options. The default
port for VNC I think is 5900, check though.

This is not a Windows issue.

Since this was initated, and vnc was a result of a suggestion given on THIS
group, I would think that's a pretty rude & crude comment. You'd do much
better to suggest WHERE the conversation should be taken to, rather than
just spew an OT post; and you were too lazy to even indicate that.

WTF is that supposed to mean? If *you* are the one who gave the OP
information about VNC (and how would anyone know that?) then give the
OP the information he wants. You really are a troll.

If the OP has questions about using third-party software such as VNC the
logical place to look for answers is where I suggested - on RealVNC
support pages. Again, this is not an operating system issue.

LOL, darned if I know! Seriously, I've no idea what glitched. That was a
response to a post which told the OP to get off this group and go to another
one.

Sorry; my bad! 50 nibbles with a big byte for me!
