Default Removing Messenger

Our niece entered her personal info on our computer (Outlook Express). Now
that she has returned home after visiting us, we cannot delete her instant
messaging contacts and we are able to view all instant messages coming to
her. I have tried to delete the contacts and return our computer to
non-instant messaging and cannot. Can someone tell me what to do? If I
delete the contacts they return 5 minutes later.

Default Removing Messenger

Greetings,

See your other post in the other thread. However, they will only get added if her account is
actually signed into Messenger.

To remove her account from Messenger, click the Start Button, then click the Control Panel.
Then, click User Accounts in the Control Panel. Select the Windows account name in question,
and then on the left side of the screen, under Related Tasks, click 'Manage my Network
Passwords'. In the window that opens, click the Passport.Net\* (Passport) entry and click
'Remove'.
