Messenger error code 80048862
my new install of messenger (8.1) fails to connect and gives me error code
80048862. I've disabled firewalls, changed firewalls, changed anti-virus, run the troubleshooter about 50 times and it says my default gateway is offline (I'm on the internet now....) I've checked the threads and have seen others with the same problem but have not seen any solution.
