Hello all,
I deleted by mistake one of my profiles in Windows XP and I was wondering if
there is way to restore that profile.

Any ideas

Thank you.

Deleted 'how'?
Deleted the profile and its directories and removed all associated files?
Deleted the profile but not the directories/files?

Is its directory still found he
C:\Documents and Settings\

If so - you can at least get the stuff out of it - but you will be better
off just creating a new profile with the same username and copying anything
you can recover overall.

as Shenan said, *HOW* did you "delete" the profile? (I presume by "profile"
you mean "User").

That *IS* the User. Unless the files are still in the Recycle Bin, and/or
you have access to data recovery software you are stuffed.
*WHY* on earth didn't you do it through Control panel-User Accounts like
most normal people? that would have given you the option to keep data
files....

Why not? That would have given you the optio (AFAIK) to save data files.

Well unless you have a backup, or the files are in the Recycle bin, I am
afraid you are stuffed.
