Printer Stopped/Hanging
My Lexmark printer has started to hang When using MS Word, Outlook Express,
notepad, Visioneer OneTouch 8600 Scanner app., and other apps. The printer icon appears in the Task bar but nothing happens after I click on the printer button. I would appreciate any help. |

Ok, I solved my problem by disconnecting my printer from the USB port,
uninstalling the printer driver, turned off computer, reconnected and turned on printer, then computer (plug-in-play automatically reinstalled driver upon bootup). Finally, I had to re-verify the print cartridge via the Print Cartridge Identification procedure (i.e. print cartridge setup).
