Default Roxio Wont Burn a CD

Running Windows XP Pro and Roxio 9:

Every time I try to burn a CD, my Roxio gives me a message telling me that I
need to put in a Blank CD. It's not the CD... I've tried several. My
system drivers are good. When CD is put in, it shows up as a Blank CD
through Windows Explorer. But Roxio seems to not recognize this.

Thanks

Wouldn't it be time to contact Roxio support?

Better idea!
I installed Nero 7.8 instead.
I think it is time to quit using Roxio. It's just to heavy of an
application and lots of bugs. Roxio has been that way since conception. I
keep thinking, when they get a new release that the bugs would be fixed.
Instead they always introduce something else that also has bugs. The
programming Department, at Roxio, needs to stop testing their own product.
Roxio should create a non bias Test Group that has to meet Quality Control
Standards before the application gets released to the public.

Okay, I will get off my soap box now.
Thanks for your input anyway.

My Roxio Studio 8 works like a charm without any problems.
