E-mails have disapeared
Hi,
Win XP home, Outlook Express 7 Last night I turned my PC off, everthing was just fine. This morning I turn PC and every single one of my e-mails and folders have disapeared. Every so often as like 4 days ago, I get a windows message asking if I would like to save and compact my messages, which I do. I looked in the recycle bin but nothing in there Is there anyway of retriving my lost emails and folders and why would this have happen? -- Sandal |

See if you can locate an old Identity folder. Search for hidden files and
folders (advanced search setting), and search for *.dbx files. If you have two sets of .dbx you can "Import" the old ones to the new in the File menu of OE. -- Was this post helpful to you? Hello Mark and thank you for your reply.
Could you break it down a little, where/how do I go about looking? -- Sandal "Mark L. Ferguson" wrote: See if you can locate an old Identity folder.
