efax: how reliable and how honest are they?
I have broadband and just started using efax.com. They are telling me
in the faq that each outgoing fax in the U.S. is $.10 per page and yet the log shows $1.68 and higher charges for a one page fax sent locally. Already i am getting anxious. So much of the web is a ripoff lately. This is in addition to the $12.95 mo charge. I tried to find recommendations for this service before I signed up but found nothing on the net. Anyone had experience with this service. |

Depending on the number of faxes you send, you might find it better to get a
fax card for your computer, plug it into a phone line and use that for faxes. True, it also has modem capability but you do not have to use that. Alternately, you might want to configure it and, if your provider has both broadband and dial-up service, use it for "fallback" (if you broadband service is down). One will not interfere with the other if both are configured correctly. Good luck. Tom MSMBP-DTS "humblejohn" wrote in message om... I have broadband and just started using efax.com. i did email them and they promised an answer by the next business day.
nothing was received. I sent a fax to myself and was charged for it but never received it. I am beginning to smell another bad fish on the internet. i will have to write to american express about these "people". thanks. "Dick Kistler" wrote in message ... I usually get a better responce by calling on the telephone to a company as
opposed to email. I rarely get a reply email in a timely manner from companies I'm a customer of, sometimes I don't get a reply at all.
