To start with I'm using XP.
My mother has w7. We both have windows live messenger the same virsion.
When she needs remote ass. she sends me an inventation but when I accept it
with ALT-C The remote ass windows comes up then it dies and a web dialog
comes up. The thing is there is nothing in the dialog box, both boxes are
inactive nothing works but to exit.
Does anyone have any ideas on the problem

Try running it without the firewall on XP active to see if there is any
difference. Sometimes XP blocks traffic from Windows 7

Even better is Mikogo. No restrictions, even for commercial use, and
requires no installation on the remote computer.
