Hi,

Thanks so much for your valuable tip. My little PC has insufficient hard

Have you tried removing temp files? Do you use CCleaner?

Default How to delete Java?

Hi,

I want to delete Java from my Windows 7 Pro hard drive. The usual
procedure of working via Control Panel-programs-uninstall, does not
work. I cannot get support from Sun Systems without paying them.

If anyone can tell me how to delete Java, I would be most grateful.

Thank you.

Try this, go for the freeware version.

Doesn't help if the 64-bit version is installed.

GeekUninstaller Free can do both x32 and x64.

If you gone through the Control Panel route then all you now need to do
is to delete the folder where Java is currently residing. Normally in
Program files but it could also be in Program files (x86) dependng on
whether you had 32 bit or 64 bit.

Deleting the folders will free up most of the disk space. If you want
to clear every bit of it then you can run CCleaner and run its registry
cleaner. Some idiots here might say it is not necessary and risky but
they are called idiots for a reason.

Hope this helps.

Geek Uninstaller
http://www.geekuninstaller.com/
(works on both x86 and x64 versions of Windows)

Revo Uninstaller
(free version is for 32-bit Windows - you didn't mention your bitwidth)
http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_..._download.html

You did not stipulate a requirement regarding price (free or paid).
Revo has a paid version that works on Windows x64.

Or just delete the Java folder and remove the registry entries for it.
That's how I do the uninstalls whether for the remnant file and registry
cleanup after a standard uninstall or in place of the standard
uninstall.
