Default Printing in black and white on an Epson Stylus CX5200 printer

Might just be easier to convert the color picture to 256
color greyscale in a photo editing program, then print it
out. Just make sure you don't save it with the same name
as the original or else the color will be gone forever

My printer has the capability to print in either color or
black white. I, however, have not yet been able to get
the @#&%*Thing*%&#@ to print in black and white. I have
read the manuals. I have searched through the "Help and
Support Center." Both to no avail. (I'm running through
a great deal of color ink -- help!)

It appears to be such and easy task to perform. Simply
press the B&W (Black & White) button, and wait for the
document to come out a clean sharp ebony script against a
crisp white background. Not so!!!!!

I appreciate any constructive assistance I can get.

Thanks, Donna
.
