Default large print jobs

I have a samsung printer that I need to print a large pdf
file on. It is about 100 pages. It prints the first two
and then crashes. I've put another 64MB of memory to the
printer, and it still crashes at the same point. I need
to limit the number of pages to about 20 page increments
for it to print all the way through. Adding memory to
the printer seems not to have done anything. Are there
any XP parameters that I can play with?
