Having explicitly chosen a non-gambling lifestyle, I removed the app today. What's an operating system seller colluding with the likes of online gambling for...geeze? Yes, I know I could have paid to have the ads removed, but it still seems wrong. End of rant. IMO, Shame on MS; they lost a few "morality points" here, as far as I'm concerned, and to my mind, this calls into question the morality or ethics built into their other software. They don't give a damn about their users? ("harmless fun"-ha!) In addition to the Windows games i also have XM Solitaire, a suite of over 200 games. You can find XM solitaire here, at Sourceforge: https://sourceforge.net/projects/xmsol/ it does run on Win-10, in spite of the slightly misleading wording in the previous sentence. MajorGeeks also has a download for it if for some reason Sourceforge bugs you: https://www.majorgeeks.com/files/det...solitaire.html . That site suggests that it runs under WinXP to Win-ten. And here is the website for some alternatives to it: https://alternativeto.net/software/xm-solitaire/ Open source & the author has answered questions. The Author being reachable at his home page (English version) at: http://petr.lastovicka.sweb.cz/indexEN.html where other nice stuff can also be found. There is more nice stuff on his Chzek language page. J. |
