Make sure that you create a backup of the registry key before making any changes.
Open Regedit and navigate to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Internet Settings\Zones\1\180D The value for this key should be set to 0 (zero) by default. -- Ronnie Vernon Microsoft MVP Windows Shell/User "Me Jarhead" wrote in message ... I had done a google search on this first, and did see a thread talking about
that. And when I checked that reg value was already at "0" "Ronnie Vernon MVP" wrote: Make sure that you create a backup of the registry key before making any changes. OK, as you have seen, there is not a lot of information on this error message yet.
You might want to identify whatever updates you have installed recently and uninstall them, one by one, testing the result with each uninstall. This includes IE7, if you have installed the new browser. Please post back with the results so that we can document this. -- Ronnie Vernon Microsoft MVP Windows Shell/User "Me Jarhead" wrote in message ... Yes, it was I.E. 7 that caused the problems. After un installing it, I've got
my right click back on ZIP files if there on the network. I'll be keeping an eye out on the thread to see if they fix this. I.E. 7 was looking nice.
