Default rundll

I just posted this on another newsgroup by mistake. My question is do I really need this program on my computer/ I deleted it in Spybot by accident. Thanks in advance

Default rundll

There is no (or should be no) Rundll.exe on NT systems. There is only
Rundll32.exe which is needed, almost no program can run without it!

Default rundll

If it helps, I recently had two instances of rundll (not rundll32) running
in my tasklist, which I couldn't stop (well, I *could* stop them, but they
just re-started immediately).

I did a virus scan, and found three infected files. Once I removed them, I
was able to stop the processes and they didn't come back.
