No.

And if you want the full-feature control panel for it, you can
get the RealTek download.

http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/...&GetDown=false

There will be a number of EXE files in the Program Files
folder created by RealTek. One of those executables will
have the letters "NG" in it, for Next Generation. Use
that control panel to configure your RealTek HDAudio device.

*******

Other things you can try, if you don't want to do that include...

1) Check Device Manager for an audio entry for your
sound device.

2) Look for the sound icon in the Task Bar, and see if
playback has been set to the RealTek audio and not
to your video card HDMI audio output.

Sound can end up disabled, if certain Services have
been disabled. If you're a BlackViper person (a disabler
of Services), good luck figuring out which one to turn
back on.

I uninstalled all Realtek drivers, reboot, and let Creator Update to
install the driver again. Problem was gone.

I had another Win 10 Creator Update demonstrating the same audio problem
with Realtek audio, and it's offline from internet.
