MS Office box copy?

If I buy one of these, then for some reason, later, have to reinstall MS Office can I use the card again? For how long? Thanks, Gordon Retail versions do not included disc media. Download option and product key. The downloaded file can be used to reinstall Office. - the license only provides for use on one pc - installing on a different pc will nullify the license on the other pc and after a short period of time deactivate as non-genuine. - installing the second time (as opposed to restoring an image of the o/s and software drive/partition) may require a phone call (to Microsoft) to activate the software. For those curious about upgrade pricing and media. From MSFT Office Chat "Unfortunately there is no upgrade versions of Office only the full versions" Looks like ms changed the licensing from the 2007 version. The office 2007 can be installed onto 2 computers with both being "legitimate"; at least that was the way it was marketed & sold expecting the 2 computers being a desktop & laptop. Too bad not sure if anyone has just a word processor available as I don't need any of the other stuff or want to pay the price for all 3 types of apps. |

That was true for earlier version of MS Office too. There was a version of MS Office 2010 that was free and was advertisement based. Although it only ran on Windows Vista and 7. And it isn't compatible with Windows 8.x. -- Bill Gateway M465e ('06 era) - OE-QuoteFix v1.19.2 Centrino Core2 Duo T5600 1.83GHz - 4GB - Windows XP SP2 |

I just went to the local computer store and read the information on the little envelope that contains some kind of business card with a code on it. It seems to me that buying one of these will let me set my one computer up to do my regular MS Office work on cloud nine or some such. That is, I won't have a copy of the MS Office client software installed on my computer. Did I misinterpret the information on the MS Office 2013 envelopes at the store? Another question I have regarding MS Windows 8.1 is, how do I do a synchronize between two folders...one on my computer and one on an external hard drive. I know I can do a fresh copy of the computer's folder to the external drive but I would like to just do a simple synchronize that would bring both folders up to the exact same file contents.
