Default Deleteing Network Connection

Sorry for the confusion, Steve. Yes it's in Network Connections, but I get
there from My Network Places. Anyway, your suggestion to remove the adaptor
did the trick. Thanks.

I think that you're referring to something in the "Network
Connections" folder, not in "My Network Places".

You can't delete a LAN connection directly. Instead, go to Device
Manager and un-install the network adapter that the connection uses.

If that doesn't help, please reply to this message in the news group
(not by E-mail) with more information to help other people understand
the problem. For example:

What type of connection is it? What's its name? What do you see if
you right click it and click Properties? What does it show for
"Connect using"?
