Default RealPlayer plugin that isn't

Most computers that have installed RealPlayer (either
clandestinely through aol or otherwise) remove many
associations from WMP and RealPlayer takes over handling
most media types. This is an ongoing problem, as
RealPlayer does not have the plug-in capabilities that
WMP has for IE.

The solution is to open RealPlayer on the client's
computer, choose Media Types in the list on the left, and
uncheck any media that you do not want RealPlayer to
handle. Also uncheck the option at the bottom telling
RealPlayer to check and renew associations.

Click OK and close. At this point WMP should take over
these associations. Some systems may have software such
as Winamp that may take some of those associations, and
the same process can be repeated for Winamp.

I produce and distribute video tutorials. It uses an IE
interface, embedding avi videos.
