After installing SP2-Beta the Fax Service doesn't work properly. Only after
uninstalling and reinstalling using the original files (not the SP2 files) on the original CD the fax function returns without problems. |

Greetings --
If you're an official beta tester, you were provided with the necessary instructions and means of doing so. If you downloaded and installed the official technical release of SP2-RC1 on your own, then its installation placed a shortcut on your desktop for that very purpose. If neither of the afore-mentioned conditions pertain, and you obtained SP2 through unapproved channels, then you cannot submit a bug report. A hitch for non-official testers is that the form requests that the user meet one of two conditions - which some folks cannot or choose not to do... o I have a .NET Passport Please sign in - o I work for Microsoft and I am currently connected to the corporate network. |

Greetings --
That's true, but what would be a point of bothering to reporting a bug if you can do so in a manner that precludes the development team's contacting you for more information? Surely you don't expect them to be able to put much credence into anonymous bug reports, do you? There are far too many "practical jokers" about.
