Default SP2 upgrade - IDE raid completely missing

I installed SP2 last weekend and have now lost all the drives connected to my
raid.
It was all working fine before the upgrade but SP2 doesn't seem to be able
to find the hardware for the drives.
L7VTA M'BOARD
AMD ATHLON 1700+ PROC
3 STD IDE HDD (ALL OK)
1 SONY DVDRW (OK)
3 SEAGATE BARRACUDA DRIVES ON RAID (INSTALLED BY FAST TRAK LITE BUT NOT SEEN
IN XPSP2)
I have tried manually installing the drivers using 'add hardware' but it
says code 10 this device cannot start.
Lookup code 10 on 'help'... nothing, great help that was!
The question is has my SP2 install goofed up or is SP2 not raid compatible,
or am I just being really stoopid and missing something obvious?
