Default Separate accounts for work, friends?

I'm a telecommuter. I use Messenger to communicate with colleagues during
work hours, and to friends when I'm not working. I sign-in either with my
work email or personal email. Regardless which ID I use to sign in, all my
contacts--both work and personal--pop up when I sign in. Is there a way I can
have separate accounts? I'd prefer to reduce the risk of sending personal
messages to work colleagues, and I prefer to appear online only to colleagues
when working, and only to friends when not working Any way to do this?

If I understood you correctly, you want to appear online to some contacts
and offline to others, right?
I asked The Support Team the same question and they told me that now
messenger don't have this feature but they will keep this in mind for next
releases.
I don't know to beleive it or not but I have nothing else to do except to
wait the (one of the) next releases.
