60 min timeout!

i was wondering if it was possible to be rid of the 60min
timeout that occurs when you dont use the internet for 60
mins?

I download a lot of program from my online store and
would like to download through the night but everytime i
leave it for an hour it times out!

Can anyone help, tried using ping but it doesnt work!
