Default TV Tuner Problem

I have a HP pavillion that is not designed as a media center pc. I have a TV
tuner card installed personally from a year or so ago that I never got to
work. Every time I try to install the drivers the PC stops cold with a BSOD
stop error. The stop error codes I checked did not pop up any solutions for
my problem in Microsoft KB, Google or anything else. Upgrading to Vista
doesn't help, either - same kind of thing (as I recall from the beta). I was
wondering if anyone had any experience with this kind of situation that
could offer some help. A teck with Best Buy's "Geek Squad" service in my
area suggested when I queried the possibility that a power supply upgrade
may help; however, I would like to make sure beforehand because I want to
make sure I can get this to work BEFORE trying the final Vista release.

HP model number is Pavilion a350n.

Any help is welcome.

Can you test the TV Tuner card in another PC? And what is the make and
model of your TV Tuner card?
