Default Windows Movie Maker

I had my videos that were on VHS transferred to DVD. My plan is to import the
DVD files into Windows Movie Maker and then edit to make a demo of some of my
work. When I try to import the DVD information into Movie Maker, I can't get
it. I will look in the I drive, where the DVD is and then click on the folder
Video_TS, the Video_TS has nothing in it. It ends up at in the look-in
section and there are no more files under that so I can not import anything.
If I open the folder, I can play the DVD but that's it. What do I do?

Thanks.

Hi cc, Did anybody answer your question? I'm having a similar problem and
need help. Our Windows Movie Maker cant recognize the file format on our
DVD. I can use Win Media Player to play the video but we need to edit it for
our son's school project. Let me know what people are advising you to do.
Thanks
