Dear Sir/ Madam;

I have recently upgraded my Win XP Professional to Win XP

when sending/receiving a fax & it does not make a sound
as in the previous version despite the facts that all the
relevant boxes are checked! Please advise the best
solution.

You can roll back if you have chosen the option during installation. Go to
Add/Remove Programs and check if there is an entry for XP Sp2. If so, you
can click on the "Change/Remove" button to uninstall it.

To answer your original problem:

Try SP1 as originally suggested. The following
may also apply:

Error: "Rule Default Block Netspy Trojan Horse Matched" when you start the

I am afraid I did not choose the option during
installation & as a result is not possible to roll back.

These web addresses did not work since I do have on my
computer Norton Antivirus 2003.

I disabled Norton Antivirus before installing Win XP SP2
but still fax monitor did not function.
