I am trying to do a system repair on Windows XP Pro - it asks me for the
VIAAGP1.SYS driver, I thought this was on the motherboard software disk but
it's not.

Any idea where I can get this driver as a download?

Thanks

David

Go to run and type sfc /scannow , (note space between c and /) insert XP
disk when prompted. Jym

Thanks for that Jym,

The only trouble is that I need it for another PC which I can't get into
until I can install the driver.

If I carry on installation without VAIAGP1.SYS all I get is a black screen,
I can see the mouse pointer but that's all. Even if I boot in safe mode I
get the same thing except I can also see the safe mode logo in each corner.

Where can I download this driver, if that is possible.

The driver that you are looking for is located windows/system 32/drivers on
the XP hard drive. Jym
