In Windows XP you could do a search that List all files that had been
changed on a date. This list contained ALL of the files in ALL directories on the hard drive. Is this feature available in Windows 8? Yes I know I can search through each directory and see the files change in each, but I would like to see ALL of the files changed in ONE report or list. This was possible in Windows XP. There I times when I am trying to locate a specific file that this is the only way to do it. Such as when you absent minded save a file without checking the directory where you are saving the file. OR when you are trying to locate the data files created by a new program |
