Screensaver cycles, does not let me log back in
I am running XP pro with Classic logon.
Screensaver (no matter which one) is password protected. When the screensaver is activated it does not let me log back into Windows - the screensaver disappears, it tries to display the logon window but jumps back into screensaver almost instantly. Whend I press ESC or CTRL-ALT-DEL several times, the logon Window appears for maybe a half second and if I am really fast I can type in the password and unlock the system. Screensaver without password works fine, also when I first maually lock Windows and then the screensaver (not password protected) activates, everything works. I have just installed SP2, and I did not have this problem before. Any help much appreciated. -DS |
