You would be better off slipstreaming your XP SP1 CD with the SP2 download
and then burning a new CD. "MM" wrote in message ... Can you run SFC / Scannow on a PC with: WinXP SP2 but my XP CD is SP1????? You need Autostreamer http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4444.html and Nero
or similar to slipstream either the SP2 CD or the SP2 full download from Microsoft's website with the XP SP1 CD. I did it for my setup and it was really easy. -- Peter Toronto, Canada XP Home SP2 P4 dual HT @ 3ghz, 360gb HD, 1gb DDR. "MM" wrote in message ... It also says there that you'll have to copy the i386 folder to your C:\
drive. -- Peter Toronto, Canada XP Home SP2 P4 dual HT @ 3ghz, 360gb HD, 1gb DDR. "MAP" wrote in message ... MM wrote: Can you run SFC / Scannow on a PC with: WinXP SP2 but my XP CD is SP1????? I tried the slipstream a while back and got a message that you can't
slipstream an already updated SP1 CD. Will Autostreamer do this? - MM Peter wrote: You need Autostreamer http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4444.html and Nero or similar to slipstream either the SP2 CD or the SP2 full download from Microsoft's website with the XP SP1 CD.
