Default Unable to burn completed movie with my photos and videos

I have windows vista home premium - after importing my photos and videos - I
completed my movie in windows movie maker - completed storyline and timeline.
I was told by forum to remove all transitions form storyline, I tried to
publish my movie again.....and the same error message pops up stating
Unspecified Error with no explanation - during encoding process about 17.6%
it stops - unable to create DVD. I was also told to check Event Viewer, then
windows log, then application log, which I did - information showed numorous
errors on the days I tried to burn - shows Error- level, Dates & times,
Source - User Profile, Event ID-1542, Task category-None. On the right panel
shows Actions - what type of Actions is needed is needed to fix this problem
- I was also told by forum to check Device Manager - and check if region is
correct - I did, Region 1 which is United Stated(Current Setting)- Please
Help...pulling hairs - want to complete my home movie. Do I need to Install
a program to complete my project. Windows Vista included service pak 1

================================
Have you tried publishing a simple project to
your hard drive with just a few pictures just to
see it if will be successful?

Also...have you tried Publishing your video to
your hard drive and then importing the video
into Windows DVD Maker from there?

And...maybe you have some incompatibility
issues with your source files.

Have a look a the following articles:

File type compatibility with Movie Maker

Which file type should I use in Movie Maker?
