How can I remove a permanent block on a program's connecting to the Internet?
Hi,
While Windows Automatic Update was installing some updates, my antvirus prog asked me if I wanted to permanently block a program to connect to the Internet. I happened to answer YES and I found that the blocked file belongs to the .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1 Security Update for Windows XP. Now I cannot install this update. How can I remove this permanent block? I am running Windows XP Pro ver 2002 SP 3. Regards Mohammad |

What antivirus program are you using? Most would have an option somewhere to
undo the blocking you allowed it to perform, so check that. "M Shafaat" wrote in message ... You are probably using BitDefender's firewall, look in the firewall
rules and remove the block there. John M Shafaat wrote: Hi, I forgot to say that the block in question is not found in the antivirus prog list.
